Czubay, seen here with SEMA President Chris Kersting (left) and SEMA Chairman Rick Rollins (right), shared how Ford’s commitment to creating vehicles that are easy to personalize has played a key role in driving vehicle sales. Ford is using innovative communications—websites, blogs and social networking outlets—to maintain active relationships with customers at all levels. As Ford has undergone what Czubay referred to as a product-lead recovery, he acknowledged that the best way for Ford to grow the market is to continue to focus on cars and trucks and have SEMA companies add value. “We can’t be successful without you,” he told attendees. He also offered some advice for the audience. “Focus beyond traditional products, and harness the technology that your buyers want.” The Keynote Luncheon is one of the Show’s many special events and is part of an educational program that creates added value for attendees. The annual lunch takes place the day before the official opening of the SEMA Show and has been a coveted feature of the trade event since 1979.
